The Kishwaukee College Library will be hosting Librofest, an author-book fair, on Thursday, October 8, from 10:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. Librofest is free and open to the public. Visitors should enter through Door #12 or Door #58.
Librofest is a celebration that includes readings, presentations and books. The schedule of events for the day includes: 10:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. – Author Tables selling original works; 11:00 – Reading and Talk by Irma M. Olmedo; 1:00 – Reading and Presentation by Yanet Platt; 1:45 – Poetry Reading by Ricardo Maria Amezquita; and 2:30– Reading by Estaban Colon.
Joining the above authors in the Atrium will be Edith Bucio and Johanny Vazquez. The day will also include free horchata and Mexican pastries.
Librofest at Kishwaukee College is sponsored by the Kishwaukee College Library and the Hispanic Heritage Committee.
