The Sandwich School District is reporting another COVID-19 case at Sandwich High School. The district announced the case on Thursday says it is a student.
The district says if you haven’t been contacted by school officials or the DeKalb County Health Department, your student has not been identified as being in contact with the student who tested positive.
The district has had 21 confirmed cases of the virus. Families have been advised to be prepared to move to full remote learning if quarantine orders make it impossible to keep buildings open.
The district is using a hybrid model where students are in school a few days a week and remote for the rest.
Earlier this week, Emily G. Johns School in the Plano School District was moved to full remote learning. The Serena School District has also moved to temporary remote learning because of COVID-19 exposures.
