The company has a variety of entertainment shows and acts available for corporate and private events.

They are both a domestic and international group travel company, specializing in tours related to the entertainment and soft adventure markets. The company produces specialty and niche tours for both student and adult groups. The adult division offers unique tours for the more experiential free-spirit 30+ age travelers. The student division hosts performance festival tours and events for school and organizational groups. The company also offers Broadway ticketing nationwide.

The creator of FunME Events is Michael Embrey. He attended the University of Illinois, majoring in music and theatre, but left after two years for a four-year tour as musician and arranger with the U.S. Air Force Band, Drum & Bugle Corps. He returned to the Midwest to freelance as an entertainer before joining Northern Illinois University as the Show Band Director. After appearing in several shows as a musician, entertainer, actor, and comedian, he started developing and producing shows to feature many musical legends from the past and present. He currently produces and directs shows for FunME Productions. He serves as Executive Artist Director for the company and continues his tourism and entertainment business roles.

In addition to his roles at FunMe, Embrey spends his free time as a journalist, writing articles about local news in DeKalb County.
