
The Kendall County Health Department reported 269 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday. It’s the highest one-day number yet for the county that was seeing numbers closer to ten to twenty in the summer.
Total cases in the county are now at 4,164. 2,399 cases are said to be in recovery. There have been 29 COVID-19 deaths in the county. Test positivity is at 14 percent. The vast majority of cases in the county have been people under their fifties.
The DeKalb County Health Department reported 112 new cases and one death. DeKalb County is up to 3,806 confirmed cases and 44 deaths.
107 new cases were reported in LaSalle County. There have been 4,121 cases and 89 deaths in the county. 2,320 cases have recovered.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 12,702 new cases on Thursday and 43 new deaths. Illinois is up to 536,542 cases and 10,447 deaths.
