County Clerk Warns of Company Selling Land Deeds

DeKalb County Clerk/Recorder Doug Johnson is advising citizens and landowners to be
cautious of letters circulated by a company named LOCAL RECORDS OFFICE from Pekin, IL.. LOCAL RECORDS OFFICE is offering to provide a copy of the landowner’s deed to them for $89 dollars.

ALL of this information is available from the DeKalb County Recorder’s office, the Recorder’s
