The DeKalb County Government released their weekly agenda for August 27-30, 2018. Of particular public interest is a discussion about wind turbines slated for the Tuesday, August 28 Forest Preserve Committee Meeting. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Legislative Center’s Gathertorium, 200 N. Main Street in Sycamore.
Also on the agenda for the Forest Preserve Committee Meeting is the Bid Opening for the Somonauk to Sannauk Trail.

I’m not sure. I know there has been discussion recently about some proposed near Genoa High School

That quote was from the meeting last March
That was with EDF. There is another company who is looking at the Genoa Kingston area.
The ordinance is County wide so it doesn’t really matter where, everyone is impacted.
