The Dr. Alfred E. Wisgoski Agricultural Education Center has received a significant donation from Eureka Savings Bank, one of the oldest businesses rooted in the Illinois Valley.
Eureka Savings Bank President John McCormick said, “We are excited to partner with IVCC to expand their agricultural program. The ag community is the backbone of our region and a vital global resource. IVCC’s vision to strengthen our area through agriculture perfectly aligns with our values at Eureka Savings Bank. We are proud to give back to the communities that have supported us for over 140 years and are honored to recognize this collective generosity in the Eureka Savings Bank Wall of Giving.”
Eureka Savings Bank, founded in 1885, is a community-focused financial institution based in La Salle, Illinois, offering a range of banking services including savings accounts, loans, and online banking. The donation of $75,000 is indicative of the community support that has been a hallmark of Eureka Savings Bank.
“We are so thankful for the support and partnership of Eureka Savings Bank in many ways and the legacy this donation will leave is a tribute to their deep-rooted commitment to the community and to IVCC,” said Dr. Tracy Morris, IVCC President.
The campaign has raised more than $1.6 million to date of the $2.5 million dollar goal. Naming opportunities are available and donations of all sizes are welcome and appreciated.
