The first annual Waterman Christmas House Walk will be this Saturday, December 14, 2013 from noon to 4pm with horse- drawn carriage rides from 12:30–3:30 in conjunction with the annual Waterman Christmas Drawing. There will be five homes featured. The homes on the walk include The Radktke home – 335 N. Elm St., The Mack home – 335 N. Hickory St., The Fitz home – 330 N. Elm St., The Rueff home – 460 N. Elm St. and The Leifheit home at 365 N. Elm Street.
Carriage Rides cost $3 for adults and $2 for children and seniors. Tickets for the House Walk cost $12 in advance and $15 the day of the event. Advance tickets can be purchased at Waterman State Bank, 248 W. Lincoln Highway; 1803 Candles, 360 E. Lincoln Highway; Waterman Winery, 11582 Waterman Road; and Simply IRZSTBL, 200 W. Lincoln Highway. Day-of tickets can be purchased at the Clinton Township Community Building in downtown Waterman. Waterman Winery will donate a bottle of wine to each ticket purchaser over 21. Proceeds from this event will be used to enhance Waterman’s Mainstreet.
Waterman State Bank will be sharing Holiday Cheer and light refreshments from 9:00AM to Noon. Stop in for a cup of coffee or cider by the fire. Limited edition commemorative ornaments by Mary Thompson will be available for sale. Also available for purchase at the Clinton Township Community Building: hoodies and sweat shirts marking the yearly event. The Waterman Presbyterian Church will be serving a fireside luncheon of chili, crackers, chicken salad on croissant, and hot apple cider from 11:00 – 1:30. Proceeds will go to the NICE Center, the local food pantry.
The annual Waterman Christmas Drawing will also be Saturday, December 14th. Registration will start at 7:00am at the Clinton Township Community Building with drawings throughout the day. A re-drawing for all unclaimed prizes will be held after 6pm. Waterman Methodist Church will be having their cookie and candy sales going on as well.
