The new Sycamore Park District Community Center, at 480 Airport Road, will open on April 14 with a public event from 12-4pm. The event will include a scavenger hunt, program and facility demonstrations, activities, staff meet and greet, and more. At 4pm that day, the Community Center will be open for business including 24-hour access to the fitness center and elevated track for Sycamore Park District Pathway Fitness members. In addition to Pathway Fitness, an elevated track, 2 full-court gym, 3 multipurpose rooms and a dance/aerobics studio, the building will house recreation and administrative staff offices.
The current Administration Office at 940 E. State Street will be closed as of April 11. To begin making this transition, service desk hours at this location will be shortened to Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm, closed April 12 and 13.
Staff will be available by phone Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm and a number of services are now offered online, including online program registration and purchase of Sycamore Park District Aquatics passes. Visit Sycamore Park District online here.
