(DeKalb) – Did you know that DeKalb has a roller derby team? Formerly known as the “Barbed Wire Betties”, the “Barbed Wire Roller Derby” has been training and competing since 2012. Join us at the DeKalb Public Library on Saturday, January 17, at 2:00 p.m., to get to know the team, its history, and their training process! Afterwards, you can attend a game at 6:00 p.m. at the YMCA in Sycamore.
This is a free event. Registration is not required. Tickets for the game are 50% off for program attendees. Children aged 8 and under can attend for free. This program will be held in the lower-level Yusunas Meeting Room.
