NIU students from the communications department have been creating a documentary about the Stop the Mega Dump efforts. The screening of their Mega Dump documentary titled “Out of Sight, Out of Mind” is this Saturday May 5th, along with seven of the other documentaries the class made this semester.
The film about the Stop the Mega Dump effort is the last of the “festival” and will begin at approximately 4:30pm (showings will run from 1pm-5pm). Anyone and everyone is invited, there is plenty of room and it is free. All of the films have been made by dedicated students eager to display their work.
The screening will be in the newly renovated Cole Hall auditorium located in the heart of the NIU campus. Visitor parking is free and located right next to Cole Hall just off of Carrol Rd. near Rt. 38. Campus Map (Cole Hall is building 31).
