Performing Groups
We have had many questions on the Auditions for this upcoming years performing group. The auditions for the performing group are open to all dancers in the Int. I level and up. The auditions will be held on August 1st and August 2nd. The auditions will cover Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Students should attend all group rehearsals. The auditions will be held over two days the first will be to teach the requirements and combinations the second day you will perform the routines and requirements for an audition panel. To help cover the cost of the instructors on this weekend a $20.00 non-refundable audition fee will be charged. All students need to pre-register for the auditions and pay the audition fee. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday August 1st at the St Charles Studio (Requirements and Combos Taught)
Warm Up 10:00-10:30 am
Jazz/Lyrical Group Choreography & Requirements 10:30-12:30
Hip Hop Group Choreography & Requirements 12:30-1:30
Sunday August 2nd at the Genoa Studio (Auditions)
Warm Up 1230-1
Auditions (all requirements, and Choreography for all groups) 1:00-6:00
Dance Attire for both days is form fitting dance clothing and hair in a neat bun.
Make Up Auditions will be held on Wed August 12 from 5-9 at the St Charles Studio.
