Mike (our beekeeper) has been out tending to our bees, now that it is finally warming up around here! When we get warmer weather, the bees come out to get some fresh air. We lost a couple of hives due to the cold weather, which happens often when we get several days below zero. We will replace them in the spring with new “nucs”. However, 8 of our hives are still buzzing along!
