The Kishwaukee College Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of student works through January 22. The Gallery hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Kishwaukee College Art Gallery is free and open to the public.

Kishwaukee College art students submitted original works in a variety of media, including paintings, drawings, photography, metals, ceramics, video, and mixed media for this juried show. Awards were announced at an Artists’ Reception held at the Gallery in December. Award recipients were: Madeline McDougall, Ghosts Read Too, photography, First Place; Mary Emmons, The Room, ceramics, Second Place; and Michelle Turcios, Untitled, watercolor, Third Place. Honorable Mentions were: Andy Anaya, Messy Anonymous, drawing; Maria Belmonte, Marisela, video; and Ashleigh Farris, Camouflage, photography.
