(DeKalb) – Most people are now familiar with ChatGPT, but do you know who made it? After launching as a nonprofit research organization in 2015, OpenAI now operates as one of the most valuable companies at the forefront of the AI boom, all thanks to their core product: ChatGPT. How did we get here?
On Sunday, April 12, at the DeKalb Public Library, we’ll discuss OpenAI’s origins, the development of ChatGPT, and the ongoing story of how the company has become such a titan in the industry.
This program is free and intended for teens and adults. No registration is required. It will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the lower-level Zimmerman Meeting Room.
