National Library Week • Welcome to Your Library • April 4-10
April 4-10, 2021 is National Library Week, a time to highlight the essential role libraries, librarians & library workers play in transforming lives & strengthening communities.
National Library Week’s theme, “Welcome to Your Library,” promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building & that everyone is welcome to use their services.
During these challenging times, libraries of all types have gone above & beyond to adapt to our changing world by expanding resources & continuing to meet the needs of patrons.
Whether people visit virtually or in person, libraries are accessible & inclusive places that foster a sense of belonging & community through learning, discovery & exploration.
This National Library Week, show your appreciation & support for libraries by visiting our website & following us on social media.
A special “thank you” to our community for your support and encouragement. Visit sycamorelibrary.org for virtual ebooks, movies, music and more!
