Join them on the big, beautiful lawn of the historical Gurler House to enjoy great local music this Saturday, June 18th, 2016 from 12 noon until 5pm. Bring your friends, family, and lawn chair or blanket to this fun, free event. Crafts and activities for the kids will be provided by the DeKalb Public Library. Chicago-style hot dogs, baked goods, cold drinks and buttons will be for sale, and all money raised benefits the Gurler House. This historic home is one of the oldest in DeKalb. It is a few blocks north of downtown on the corner of 2nd and Pine. See schedule of performers below.
If the event gets rained out, The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb, 158 N. 4th St., DeKalb, Ill. will be the rained out location. For more information, send a private message to the Gurler House Facebook page, visit their web page, or call Gurler Heritage Association board member Nathan Dettman at 815-761-8849.
