This is the season for everything bunny related! We’ve got Breakfasts with the Bunny, Easter Train Rides, Easter Egg Hunts and Flashlight Egg Hunts. Both this weekend and next, our Local Events Calendar features many holiday events.
This Saturday, March 28th, 2015, the Sandwich Park District will be hosting their Spring Holiday Egg Hunt outside in Knights Park in Sandwich, rain or shine at 9:30am sharp. Dress appropriately and bring a basket to collect your eggs. There will be two sections, one for infants to 5 years old and one for 6 to 9 years old. Make sure all children have an adult with them while searching. There is a limit of six eggs per child.
Afterwards, stay and visit with the Bunny. Bring your camera for the perfect photo opportunity. Safety Warning: Not all items inside the eggs are appropriate for all ages, please inspect your child’s eggs! Knights Park is located at 1001 N. Latham Street, in Sandwich. Visit Sandwich Park District’s website here.
Also on Saturday, the Genoa Park District will be hosting a Easter Egg Hunt at 10am in Chamberlain Park. Kids ages five and up, grab your basket and fill it with eggs and candy and maybe find a special prize egg. Children will be separated by age groups for more fun. The Easter Bunny will also make a special appearance. The egg hunt will go fast so don’t be late. There is no cost for this event. Genoa Park District‘s Chamberlain Park is located at W. 2nd and N.
