Some DeKalb County communities did their Easter Egg Hunt events last weekend, but there are plenty going on over the next two days leading up to Easter 2019. (Please comment below if you would like to announce any that we missed.)
DeKalb County Community Gardens recently hosted a sold-out Adult Easter Egg Hunt in Kirkland. If you missed that one, there is another Saturday night in Genoa, as these adult egg hunts seem to be catching on.
Adult Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt
The Genoa Veterans Home, 311 W. Washington Street, will be hosting an adults only Flashlight Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 20, 2019!
This event is open to the public but attendees must be at least 21 years old. Come prepared to act like a kid and try to find the most eggs. BYOB (bring your own basket).
Sign in starts at 6 p.m. and the cost is $5.00. Your ticket puts you in the drawing for prizes. The hunt starts at 8 p.m. Many surprises could be hidden in your eggs.
Breakfast With the Bunny & Free Egg Hunt in Sycamore
Welcome the bunny to Sycamore and share breakfast with family and friends. Each child takes home a special memento of the day, while supplies last. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage, pastries, juice, and coffee.
