Thursday and Friday refuse collection in DeKalb will be delayed one day during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s Day. Thursday and Friday collections will be Friday, and Saturday both weeks.
Waste Management will collect Christmas trees placed on the parkway the weeks of December 29th and January 5th. Christmas trees must have all decorations removed. Christmas trees in plastic bags will not be collected.
Landscape waste containers will be available for Christmas tree disposal Monday, December 29th through Friday, January 9th at the following locations:
The southeast corner of North Seventh & Oak Streets
Fire Station # 2 – 1154 So. Seventh St.
City Garden Plots by Fire Station # 3 – 950 W.
