Climb aboard one of the first mass-produced airliners and step back in time to aviation’s golden age this Thursday through Sunday, September 21st – 24th at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport. A flight on EAA’s Ford Tri-Motor is a flight back to an era where air travel was considered a luxury.
Recall the energy, passion, and excitement of the Roaring ’20s by flying aboard the Ford Tri-Motor. Known as the first luxury airliner, the Ford Tri-Motor redefined world travel and marked the beginning of commercial flight.
All ticket proceeds support the Experimental Aircraft Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing The Spirit of Aviation with everyone. The tour stops are hosted by volunteers who are passionate about sharing the Ford Tri-Motor’s stories.
