Back in December of 2018, we posted an article and video of DeKalb teenager, Christopher Canaday, returning home after undergoing heart transplant surgery.
Today, Canaday’s story was shared by Chicago television station WGN in their Living Healthy Chicago segment (see description and video below).
“Christopher Canaday’s battle for heart health has been life long, leading up to a heart transplant. But through it all, he says staying positive has made a big difference in helping him along the path to health. Now he and his family hope to encourage others going through a serious diagnosis.”
