This American Red Cross blended learning lifeguard class includes Basic Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid training. All certifications are valid for 2 years. Please note that this blended learning class combines in-class sessions with online learning. Plan an additional 8-10 hours outside of the meeting times to complete the online class sessions.

The DeKalb Park District is proud to be an authorized provider of the six-level American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program. Students can participate in Group Lessons, Private Lessons, or Intro to Swim. Ages 5+
Fun learning and Playtime!
Share lunch together, followed by a fun afternoon of learning and play! Each date incorporates a special theme such as “Under the Sea” or the “Moon & Stars”, etc. Activities include music, stories, crafts and creative drama.
(Bring along a lunch and lots of imagination!)
