Thoughts invited on reducing amount of printing on campus

The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is partnering with the Student Association to reduce the amount of printing on campus.

Reducing NIU’s printing output will contribute to university-wide efforts toward a more environmentally friendly campus and will save hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. Such savings will be allocated to other university resources, and also will contribute to the reduction or elimination of printing costs to students.

In an effort to better understand and gauge campus printing needs, DoIT is asking the university community to participate in a short survey (approximately three minutes).

Participation in the survey is voluntary, and all responses are confidential. The survey will be open through Monday, Jan. 25.
