The Sycamore Film Festival is a one day event celebrating high quality independent films from around the world. Film lovers from all over the Midwest can gather in quaint downtown Sycamore to watch over 30 films. Documentary, Short, Feature and Student filmmakers from around the world will gather to engage with the audience after each screening.
The 2013 Sycamore Film Festival is a non-profit “Arts for the Arts” Benefit to support Sycamore High School scholarships for students who are pursuing education and careers in the Arts. The event celebrates high quality independent films from established award winning Artists as well as brand new student filmmakers.
The Sycamore Film Festival will be held at the newly renovated DeKalb County Community Foundation’s building, 2600 DeKalb Ave. in Sycamore, IL. It is presented by Feyt Productions in association with the Joiner History Room. Visit the film festival’s website now to learn more.
