Sycamore and DeKalb Farmers Markets Start This Week

This year, the Discover Sycamore’s annual Farmers’ Market will be held on a different day of the week. Come out to Sycamore’s Farmer’s Market every Tuesday, June through September, from 3-7pm. Each Tuesday brings the freshest fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, cheeses, flowers, live music and much more to the downtown Sycamore parking lot at the corner of Somonauk and Elm Streets.

The DeKalb Farmers’ Market sponsored by KishHealth System will be open for the season every Thursday beginning this Thursday, June 4th through September 24th in Van Buer Plaza (Locust and N. 2nd Streets) from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Debit, Credit, and LINK are accepted, sponsored By Castle Bank.

The market features local produce, baked goods, wine, coffee, pet treats, hand crafted items, and more. Be sure to stop by for lunch as Tinez Tacos and Mike’s Empanadas food trucks will be there weekly. The Live Lunch Series presented by the Egyptian Theatre will beheld on Thursdays, June 4 – August 20, 12:00 – 1:30.
