Friday night you have to opportunity to support Boy Scouts, local businesses and Littlejohn Elementary School in DeKalb—all while enjoying good food and fellowship.
Micah Kurtzman, a Boy Scout from Troop 16 in Sycamore, is having a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5 -7 p.m. to raise funds for his Eagle Scout Project. The fundraiser will take place at Sycamore United Methodist Church, 160 Johnson Ave. in Sycamore, IL.
Kurtzman’s project will be building three large storage shelves for Littlejohn Elementary School in DeKalb. The estimated cost for the project is around $1,100.
The dinner is free with donations accepted and the silent auction will also be helping a variety of small, locally-owned businesses in the community.
Some of the items in the silent auction include books, games, home decor items, hats, and gift certificates from local eateries and entertainment vendors.
