NIU will hold an election Thursday, Nov. 12, to determine who will represent the university’s Operating Staff employees on the State Universities Civil Service Advisory Committee (also known as the Employee Advisory Committee).
Balloting will be conducted at Human Resource Services and at the Holmes Student Center (in the hallway outside the Blackhawk). The term of office for this representative is from Jan. 1, 2016, until Dec. 31, 2020.
Civil Service employees interested in running for this position must pick up petitions and Statement of Candidacy forms at either Human Resource Service Center location (Lincoln Highway or Room 110 of Swen Parson Hall) beginning Friday, Oct. 9.
