Mondays are Open Mic nights at The House in downtown DeKalb. Starting at 7:oopm interested folks can sign up for a slot to take the stage. One never knows what you will see on that stage but it’s guaranteed that you’ll be entertained. Usually it’s some really good, local music from people anywhere from 15 to 80 years old.
Rumor has it that we may only have a few weeks left to enjoy this local treasure due to the owner not renewing her lease. We all hope the spirit of The House lives on in some manner but still… Enjoy it while you got it! The House is located at 263 E. Lincoln Hwy. in DeKalb.
