Prominent business leaders will be part of a panel discussion on Thursday, April 16, in Chicago to explain how to gain share in a global market.
Keynote speaker Jeff Malehorn, president and CEO of World Business Chicago, and other executives will share leadership practices and discuss strategies to gain ground in a global economy.
Panel members are Patrick Sandusky, chief communications and public affairs officer of the U.S. Olympic Committee; Leanne Ebert Murphy, managing counsel of merchandising and global brands divisions, Walgreen Co.; and Patrick Funck, CIO and senior vice president of Accretive Health. Retired President Rita Athas of World Business Chicago will moderate the discussion.
The conference, sponsored by the Northern Illinois University Leadership Forum, will be held from noon to 7 p.m. at The Mid-America Club, Aon Center, 200 E. Randolph Drive, Chicago.
During the networking and cocktail reception at 5 p.m., NIU President Doug Baker will speak to share campus developments.
