This Friday, January 30th, 2015, come see the movie Clue at the Egyptian Theatre, featuring the shadow cast of “A Powerful and Irrational Mouthwash” performing along with the movie. Based on the popular board game, this comedy begins at a dinner party hosted by Mr. Boddy (Lee Ving), where he admits to blackmailing his visitors. These guests, who have been given aliases, are Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan), Miss Scarlet (Lesley Ann Warren), Mr. Green (Michael McKean), professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd), Mrs. White (Madeline Kahn) and Col. Mustard (Martin Mull). When Boddy turns up murdered, all are suspects, and together they try to figure out who is the killer. Rated PG, tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased online or at the door.
Then on Saturday the 31st, join Egyptian Theatre staff as they provide a tour of the historic Egyptian Theatre using just your flashlights. On this new tour for 2015, guests will be treated to a behind the scenes backstage tour which will highlight the haunted history of the theatre. This is the tour that reveals all the secrets and lets you go places the public has never seen. Don’t forget to bring your camera. You never know what you might capture in your pictures.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Guests must bring a flashlight for the tour. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. This evening tour will last approximately 2 hours and the tickets are limited, purchase online here.
