(DeKalb) – “3! 2! 1! Let it rip!” Put your Beyblade skills to the test when you compete in head-to-head battles at the DeKalb Public Library on Wednesday, July 30. Do you have what it takes to be the one?
A tournament bracket will be created prior to the program based on registration. The first battle will begin at 2:00 p.m. and winners will progress through the tournament bracket. There will also be a free-play area with a variety of arenas to use for non-registrants and Bladers knocked out of the tournament.
A simple explanation of Beyblade battle rules can be found on Hasbro’s Beyblade site. The last Blader left standing is the tournament champion!
The library will provide the arenas, aka Beystadiums, but you must bring your own Beyblade. Any Beyblade you use in the tournament must be name-brand. The library may have a limited supply of Beyblades to borrow, but this is not guaranteed.
This program is for children ages 6 and up and will be held in the lower-level Yusunas Meeting Room. You must register at dkpl.org to compete.
