KishHealth System Physical Therapy 5K Run/Walk

KishHealth System Physical Therapy Center is hosting its 8th annual 5K run/walk event on May 30 at 8:00 am. The event is intended to be both competitive as well as promote health and fitness for the local community. Proceeds will be donated to Adventure Works of DeKalb Co. Inc.

The run/walk will start and end at the Physical Therapy Center (2111 Midlands Court, Sycamore). The course is flat and follows city streets. Volunteers will control traffic and direct runners. Water available on the course. Split time given at each mile. View the race course map.

Event day registration and packet pick up available from 6:45 – 7:45 am. Registration closes at 7:45 am and the run/walk begins promptly at 8:00 am. Pre-registered runners are guaranteed a race T-shirt. Event day registrants will receive a T-shirt, while supplies last.

Entry Fees are $15 KishHealth System employees; $20 General public and $25 Event day registrants. Fees include:  refreshments, stretching, massage, raffle and music.

Awards given to the overall male and female winners, plus the top three male and female runners in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Run/walk results will be posted on this site after the event along with other links to other event sites. RaceTime will provide instant finish results.

Refreshments served to all participants both pre and post-race. Physical Therapy Center staff will be available for post-event stretching and massage. A number of raffle prizes will be given out.
