The Second Annual Kirkland Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Expo will be held this Saturday, February 26th from 10am to 2pm at the Kirkland Fire Station. There will be approximately 18 booths at the Expo. Representative Soznowski from the 69th district or his staff will be in attendance as well as John Acardo, the new DeKalb County Clerk and Recorder.
The Kirkland Chamber will be giving away four door prizes including two gas cards for $40 each, a $25 dollar restaurant card, and a $25 card from the Five Star Dollar Store. The new Highway 72 Pharmacy will be in attendance as well as other local businesses and community groups such as the Kirkland United Methodist Church. North Pines Heating and Cooling will be giving away a Blackhawks Jersey as a vendor prize.
Food will be available at the event. The Kirkland Fire Department is located at 3891 State Rt. 72 in Kirkland.
