KC Foundation announces scholarship recipients

The Kishwaukee College Foundation announces the student scholarship recipients for Fall 2015. The Kishwaukee College Foundation annually offers over $250,000 in scholarship funds to eligible Kishwaukee College students. Scholarship Funds have been established by generous members of the community, local business and industry, and area agencies and associations to recognize, reward, and assist students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, and overall accomplishment.

For Fall 2015, there were additional funds made available and awarded to returning Kishwaukee College students who were affected by the April 9 tornado in the Rochelle and Fairfield communities. “Our Kishwaukee family is part of a larger family in our local communities,” stated Marshall Hayes, Executive Director of the Kishwaukee College Foundation. “We wanted to offer special assistance to enable those students whose lives were disrupted by the tornado to continue their education at Kishwaukee as they and their families continue the recovery process.”
