Join in, on the big, beautiful lawn of the Gurler House to enjoy great local music at the 15th annual Folk Music Fest this Saturday, June 20th, 2015. Bring your friends, family, and lawn chair or blanket to this fun, free event. Hear some great local music on a Saturday afternoon. From noon until 12:45pm, hear Dave Balika and Friends; from 1-2:45pm, listen to the island tunes of The Wacky Keys; and from 3-4:45pm A Wing and a Prayer Dixieland Jazz Band takes the stage.
Chicago-style hot dogs, baked goods, cold drinks and buttons will be for sale, and all money raised benefits the Gurler House. This historic home is one of the oldest in DeKalb, and it is a few blocks north of downtown on the corner of 2nd and Pine.
Rain location will be at The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of DeKalb, 158 N. 4th St., DeKalb, IL.
