Give DeKalb County is now open for nonprofit registrations. Donors can give online from the stroke of midnight until the end of the day on May 5, 2022. Between April 21 and May 5, groups who prefer to donate by check can print a donation form from the website and donate by mail.
This annual fundraising event, coordinated by DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership (DCNP), features multiple ways to support nonprofit organizations. The previous eight giving days combined have raised over $5.3 million for participating nonprofit organizations.
“Give DeKalb County is an exciting event for donors and nonprofits alike,” said Ben Bingle, Grants, and DCNP Director. “Last year, we saw an outpouring of support from donors who gave more than $1.5 million by mail and online. We’re excited for what 2022 will bring, and we look forward to witnessing extraordinary generosity through Give DeKalb County once again.”
Community Partners are raising a Bonus Pool of funds, and each donation made during the event will get boosted by a percentage with these funds. The Bonus Pool is made possible from the generous support of Community Partners, including: DeKalb County Community Foundation, The Suter Company, Inc., American Family Insurance—Manny Pena Agency, AM/PM Solutions & Services, Anonymous, Byers Brewing Company, Cathy Doederlein, Curran Family Endowment Fund, Dan & Kathy Schewe, Drake Castle Charitable Fund, First Midwest Bank, Heartland Bank & Trust, Herb and Linda Holderman, James K. & Loretta M.
