Enbridge is a leading transporter and distributor of energy in North America. Enbridge has been safely delivering energy – natural gas, crude oil and alternative energies – for more than 65 years. Enbridge’s system meets 70 percent of Midwest refinery capacity needs. Their underground pipelines transport North American crude oil to make petroleum products used every day across the United States. Petroleum-based products include much more than production of gas and oil for vehicles and machinery. Petroleum is the basis for the production of most manufactured products constructed of plastic, as well as playing a key production role in everything from cosmetics to clothing.
Enbridge has a long history of commitment to supporting educational opportunities. The establishment of the Enbridge Energy Company Pipeline Industry Awareness Scholarship at Kishwaukee College is a demonstration of the company’s support of technical education.
