In recognition of the Illinois State Law that went into effect January 1, 2012 regarding the disposal of electronic materials, the City of DeKalb has formed a partnership with NIU and other communites in DeKalb County to establish a revolving electronic drop off program for its residents. Other partner communities include Sycamore, Genoa, and Sandwich. Drop-off locations will rotate in various locations within the partner communities. Upcoming dates/locations are as follows:
