Keep an eye out for egg art in your park!
Brightly painted concrete eggs will be hidden throughout Sycamore’s 11 neighborhood parks and Old Mill Community Park. The parks are open sunrise to sunset.
An egg will be placed in the following parks: Boynton, Brothers, Charley Laing, Dr. John Ovitz*, Emil Cassier*, Founders*, Kiwanis East, Kiwanis Prairie, Leon Larson, Old Mill, Sycamore Lake, and Wetzel. When you visit the park, follow CDC’s guidance on the minimum recommended physical distancing of six feet from others. Per IL Executive Order 2020-10, all district playgrounds are closed to public use. Find more information about visiting parks during the COVID-19 pandemic at sycamoreparkdistrict.com/enjoy-your-parks/
If you find an egg take a picture and send it to info@sycamoreparkdistrict.com. We will share the photos on Facebook and the website so the whole community can see all 12 eggs!
*For parents with very young children who want to avoid closed playgrounds all together, these parks do not have play equipment.
