Satellite voting in DeKalb County will begin on Monday according to Doug Johnson, County Clerk & Recorder. “Our team is getting ready for the next step in early voting by opening up satellite locations on Monday,” commended Doug Johnson in a telephone interview.
“We are continuing to process mail-in and early voting. Our office has been able to keep up with requests and we are pleased at the number of earlier voters. We have processed over 4,000+ early voters, way more than in previous elections where that number would have been 1,500+ at this time in the election process.”
The need for election judges is now limited as a quantity of people have applied even with concerns over COVID-19.
“We are ready for the final two weeks of this election,” concluded Johnson. “We are ahead of the curve for now.”
