Come to Shelbyville and take a drive through Forest Park as it is lit up for the Holiday season. These lights are put in place each year by volunteers and new lights and themed areas are also added. Candy Cane lane is to honor loved ones.
Come enjoy the Victorian Village, Santa’s Shop, the North Pole, Bethlehem, and others. All displays are painted and taped to match the light colors to make them even brighter with the LED lights. Back this year is the historic Chautaqua Building as a carousel.
Traffic is watched so that lights are not turned off while people are driving through the park.
Donations are accepted at booth at end of tour for the lights.

This event is located in Forest Park, off of 9th Street in Shelbyville.
If you would like to volunteer to help with the lights, whether it’s replacing light bulbs or putting up the displays. Meet at the Park Maintenance Bldg on the corner of 9th and N Morgan beginning at 9 am on weekdays.
If you would like to help sponsor the lights, donations are accepted and sponsor signs are available for $50 each.
If you would like to volunteer in the booth during the light display, please contact one of the people above and let them know the date(s), time(s) you are able to help out. This is a great way to get volunteer hours in for your group. contact Nathan Nichols.
