The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Candidate’s Night this Wednesday, Oct 3rd, 2012. There will be a Meet and Greet in the lobby of the Egyptian Theatre from 5:30 TO 6:30PM. Candidates will be on stage starting at 6:30.
They are still receiving confirmations but do have confirmed to attend; both of the candidates for the 23rd Judicial Circuit, Bill Brady (R) and Ronald G. Matekaitis (D); both of the candidates for the DeKalb County State’s Attorney, Clay Campbell (R) and Richard H. Schmack (D); and both candidates for the Regional Superintendent of Schools, Derek R. Avery (R) and Amanda Christensen (D).
They have candidates also confirmed from the race for the State House of Representatives, 90th District, County Board Districts 8, 9 and 10. Additional candidates in uncontested races will also be at the Meet and Greet. The Egyptian Theatre is located at 135 N. Second Street in downtown DeKalb.
