The Kishwaukee Hospital Auxiliary will hold its annual Artisan Market this Friday, October 17th, 2014, from 9 am to 5 pm in the Kishwaukee Hospital Roberts Conference Center. The event will feature a wide variety of unique handmade items, including baked goods and handcrafted candy, fiber arts, knitted and crocheted items, home décor, art work, and more.
“While supporting your local community of artisans, you are also supporting the Kishwaukee Hospital Auxiliary’s fundraising efforts for yearly healthcare scholarships. Scholarships make it possible for local people to attend school. You are making an important contribution to this community, while getting great gifts for yourself, friends, and family,” said Lisa Campbell, Artisan Market Committee member.
Raffle baskets will be on display in the main lobby from October 7-17. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Winners will be announced Oct. 20. Hardy mums will also be on sale for $10 each in the Green Leaf Gift Shop. Proceeds from the event benefit the Auxiliary Healthcare Scholarship Fund. For more information, visit www.kishhealth.org.
