NIU STEM is offering a class on Electronics and Soldering this Saturday, April 9th. Electronic devices have become a very important part of our daily lives. In this class, students will get a hands-on look at the different components that work together to create their favorite electronic devices. They will explore concepts of electricity and the functions of some common types of electrical components that can be found in all electronic devices. Students will also develop basic soldering skills as they learn to solder these components. They will also develop critical thinking and problem solving skills as they construct and troubleshoot their very own electronics projects.
Registration price of $99 includes the cost of the electronics project, which the students will be able to take home after the class. This is a two part class. The second class will be on April 16.
