PEOPLE PULLING TOGETHER — Nearly every community has sick or injured servicemen and women, hospitalized veterans. Post 90 is intent on assisting them. Help them by donating during the White Clover drive.
Starting in October, AMVETS Post 90 will place donation boxes in area retailers. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 6, 7 and 8, 2015, AMVETS members go into the community with “white clovers” to solicit donations to fund programs to support our efforts.
The White Clover, meaning “Remember Me” is symbolic of the universal struggle for freedom. It also reminds us of the needless misery, deprivation and death caused by war, of those who gave their lives, are seriously disabled or still confined in hospitals with the injuries or illnesses they suffered. These are not forgotten.
AMVETS Post 90’s goals are to support veterans and improve the quality of life for them, their families and improve the communities where they live. Each year Post 90 contributes both time and funds to realize these goals.
If you wish to donate to AMVETS Post 90 you may sponsor a new member ($25.00). Contribute any amount by check to AMVETS Post 90 DeKalb and send it to:
