April 9th is the Local Consolidated Election! If you haven’t had the time to learn about the candidates, there are plenty of places to learn more online. Start with this page on the DeKalb County Clerk’s site where you can plug in your name and information and see what your specific ballot will look like.
Then, to learn more about the candidates, you can visit our Upcoming Elections section here . The Daily Chronicle also has an Elections Central section loaded with information here. You can watch the full League of Women’s Voters Candidate’s Forum on 3/20/13 online here.
All regular polling locations are open on April 9, 2013. Polls open at 6:00 AM on April 9, 2013 and close at 7:00 PM. On Election Day you must vote in your polling facility. For more information about polling places, etc, visit the DeKalb County Clerk’s Election Website by clicking here.
Election Night results will be posted online at votedekalb.com as they come in from the polling locations.
Please note, they will not be electronically posting the results of the write-in candidates. Media outlets and candidates wishing to see these results should plan on having a representative at Election HQ on Election night. Those results will only incorporate the returns from Election Day. All pre-Election Day voting will be tabulated at a later date.
And if you haven’t exercised an early voting option please remember to VOTE Tuesday April 9th!
