Safety on the Job

The DeKalb County Association of Human Resource Management (DCAHRM-RAHRA) is hosting a training titled  ‘Safety on the Job’  this Tuesday, September, 11th from 8am to 10:30am at Kishwuakee College Room A-225.

The Safety on the Job presentation will provide a briefing on OSHA’s most violated standards and what are the new changes with OSHA, DOT and EPA. Participants will become familiar with a list of training requirements for new employees and the must-know information to keep their employees safe and their company in compliance.

The 1 hour & 45 minute presentation with 15 minute question and answer period will address: 1. What are the new changes with OSHA, DOT and EPA 2. OSHA Inspection Policy 3. Training Requirements 4. Job Hazard Analysis 5. Behavior Safety 6. Beyond Punishment.

The speaker, Jeff Clark, owner of 2 B Safe, Inc. is an authorized OSHA outreach trainer in the areas of General Industry and Construction Industry. With over 20 years’ experience as a safety and health instructor, Jeff has worked in various industries. He has developed, written, and delivered numerous customized safety and health programs. Each training program meets OSHA requirements and standards. Cost for the training is $12.00.
