Local Candidate Forum at the Egyptian Theatre

A change in format is something new for the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Candidate Night (tonight) at the Egyptian Theatre. In past events audience members would suggest questions for the candidates who would answer in a debate style. Because of the many variables involved in a primary election including a high number of uncontested races that system is difficult to implement. The new format includes a meet and greet session for one-on-one conversations and allows each candidate 6 minutes under the spotlight to discuss the issues and reasons they are seeking office.
