The 12th annual Tribute to Heroes is this Thursday, October 2nd at 5:30pm at Kishwaukee College. This is a fundraising and awards event hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, to honor local heroes from DeKalb County. Proceeds benefit the Three Fires Council of the Boy Scouts in DeKalb County. This year’s honorees are: Mayor Les Bellah of Kirkland, Greg and Sherri Howells of Sycamore, Pete Johnson of Sycamore, and Peg and Frankie Mall of Sandwich. Please join them in honoring them and supporting local youth. Tickets are $50 each.
